On 23 March 2007, the dental nurses from Klinik Pergigian Bangsar has conducted an activity and educational talk on DENTAL HEALTHCARE. 20 KG children from Water Lilies and Irises took part in this 1-hour program from 9.00-10.00 am.

The session started off with an activity on ?How To Brush Your Teeth? at the playground area. Prior to this, children were told to bring their own cups, toothbrushes and toothpastes to school. The children were taught the correct ways of brushing their teeth in order to maintain strong, clean and healthy teeth and gums. This is also in conjunction with their theme of the month which is OURSELVES.

The children were all then given a talk and a general dental check-up in the computer lab. Children were advised to visit their dentist regularly for preventative checkups and cleanings, to floss their teeth at least once everyday and most importantly to have a balanced-diet and avoid excessive snacking between meals-especially  sticky and sweet things like candy.

The children enjoyed themselves very much and took part in the quiz. It ended with the children having known the fact that healthy teeth is the door to a beautiful smile. They were all given a goodie bag which consist of a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste and a guidebook to clean and healthy teeth. The children left the room
